Wheelchairs are commonly used for pets that are unable or have difficulty walking due to hip dysplasia, degenerative myelopathy, arthritis, disc disease, amputation, spinal trauma, or any condition affecting the rear legs.

Pet wheelchairs support the rear weight of your pet, allowing him or her to "walk" using the front legs. It is important that your pet have reasonably strong front legs to use the wheelchair.

Pet wheelchairs are an excellent rehabilitation tool for pets that may return to walking. They are also designed to accommodate the needs of pets with degenerative diseases.
